Kelvin Van Der Linde was born to his parents, Shaun van der Linde & Mother Bernadine van der Linde. He always looks up to his father, & his father is the inspiration behind his career. Shaun was always very supportive of Kelvin's interests & always was there to teach him things.

Linde's parents have always encouraged him to pursue his racing driver career & he has been doing precisely that. Shaun was also the national champion in touring car & single-seater racing. Shaun managed to claim five titles in Formula GTI from 1992 to 2004.

However, there is not much information about Bernadine's occupation, but she is also a racing driver supporter & is always there to support her son, Kelvin, in his races.
