Robert's friend shared a congratulatory post on Facebook for the senior Gaudreau on seeing Benjamin make it to Team Canada to participate in the Junior World Championship. The friend also made a humorous comment about the whole household having to book some flights now. 

Benjamin's dad also replied with an appreciative message, stating that this was the final step to being named as a team member on 12th December. Robert added that his fingers were crossed, showcasing his nervousness and excitement.

Who is Charlotte Gaudreau?

Charlotte Gaudreau is a retired Canadian military member. 

In her Twitter bio, Charlotte stated that she was in the military profession, but she has not specifically described her rank or work designations.

Charlotte also works as an HR expert. She is interested in hockey and is proud of her son for being embedded in this sector. Like her husband, Charlotte retweeted Sarnia Sting's congratulatory post on Twitter. 

However, she also enjoys volleyball and soccer. She has described herself as a mom of these three sports in her bio. 

Charlotte is engaged in outdoor activities. She has been involved in camping, cycling, and skiing.

Benjamin Gaudreau sister Paige Gaudreau plays volleyball for the North Bay Youth Volleyball Club U-16 Lakers.

Paige has shared the athletic passion of her brother and has indulged in sports from a young age. She joined the Lakers Volleyball team in the U-16 divisions and has been successful there. 

The Lakers had received the bronze medal at the OVA Provincial Cup tournament. The team had lost to the Georgian Cubs Ambush in the semi-final.

On June 2020, the Lakers lost to the Ottowa Suns in the final of the U-16 Challenge Cup and took the silver medal. 

Moreover, Paige has also got involved in soccer alongside volleyball. She is in Sudbury's youth soccer Soccer Club. On April 13, 2020, Paige posted about her daily practice session on Twitter, where she practiced dribbling.

In an interview with NCSA Sports, Paige stated that winning the Gold Cup with her team was an incredible and exciting experience. She also added that making her team move up the Central Soccer league was a great feeling. All this success had made her more determined to be an 'athlete person' at the college level.
