Talking to LPGA.com, she explained what went behind the scenes of her destination wedding. Brittany said that there was a lot of planning and stress. After the Evian Championship, she went to Italy to see the venue and do some food tasting, which relieved her stress. But, weeks leading up to the wedding, the US was taken off the safe list from the EU due to the travel restrictions brought on by the pandemic.

Altomare was into tears in that current situation, as she thought they would have to cancel the wedding. But luckily for her, everything worked out. They arrived in Italy safely and tested negative.

Talking to Beth Ann Nichols from Golf Week, Altomare revealed that she and Steven had to go to therapy because she had trouble expressing herself to Stanislawzyk.
