Clay Travis wife Lara Travis is a mother of three children. Clay and Lara were married on August 17, 2004.

He is an American radio host, television analyst, political commentator lawyer, and writer. He is also the founder of Outkick, one of the top omnichannel in sports, opinion, politics, and pop culture which produces content across all online and social outlets. 

Along with Buck Sexton Clay Travis hosted The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, which was broadcasted over many radio stations as a three-hour weekday conservative show. 

The political commentator first rose to prominence through his blog in 2004, back then he was working as a lawyer in Tennessee and US Virgin Islands. He was raised in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and completed his high school education with Martin Luther King. His alma mater is George Washington University and the Vanderbilt University Law School. 

Clay Travis And Lara Travis Are Together For 18 Years Now

Clay Travis wife name is Lara Travis. Clay and Lara have been married for eighteen years now.

Lara is originally from Michigan. She also attended the Vanderbilt Law School to become a lawyer but she quit after a year. Mrs. Travis has a Master's Degree in Guidance Counselling.

In August 2020, Clay and Lara celebrated their sixteenth wedding anniversary. To commemorate their sixteenth wedding anniversary, Lara posted a photo of hers with Travis. Lara has over twenty-four hundred followers on her Instagram and 362 posts as of writing this. She frequently posts about the vacations they take in exotic locations and their kids. Recently she shared a photo of Clay and their son skiing on the slopes of Park City, Utah. In the captions, she wrote, "A couple treacherous days on the slopes to appreciate a perfect one today."

Lara is a former Tennessee Titans cheerleader. In March of 2021, Lara posted a photo of her doing oversplits near a jacuzzi pool in Banayan Tree Mayakoba. In the captions, she mentioned that she had to do the oversplits there. Her caption read "The jacuzzi at our villa had just the perfect spot to try for oversplits! (Gymnasts and dancers know) I got close "

Lara also ran a half marathon back in April 2019. She was a part of the Rock 'n' Roll Nashville Marathon. Although she is a former cheerleader, Lara from time to time is seen with her cheerleading pompoms. Like in this instance, in January 2020, she posted a photo of her cheerleading at Clovercroft Elementary School. Her captions read, "Had a great time sharing Titans’ cheer with some really pumped kids this week! Now Let’s Go Titans!"

Lara occasionally writes for Outkick The Coverage. Back in 2015, she wrote about how terrible Travis can be on long car trips. She wrote that Clay isn't the best person to ask to load a car. She wrote, "We have an SUV, and if Clay loads the car he might manage to fit two suitcases and his newspaper in it. Plus he constantly asks me where things should go, then completely disregards my answer and puts all the bags in the backseat anyway."

How Did Clay and Lara Travis Met Each Other?

Clay and Lara Travis first met each back when pursuing law at the Vanderbilt Law School, Nashville, Tennessee. 

Writing for the Outkick in 2015, Lara said that it was she who did all of the planning for the trips. For all of the trips they have taken Lara is the one behind the scenes in all, she arranges the car seats, packs for not only herself but five people gets snacks and entertainment ready not just for the kids but also Clay. And if she has any time to spare, then she showers and gets dressed. 

Travis and Lara moved to the Virgin Islands in mid-August 2004. Both of them traveled to "every bar" across the Virgin Islands to watch Titans' games on television, but they were told that NFL games could not be shown locally. Back then, through DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket package, every NFL game every week was broadcasted via satellite access. But, they were told that it was not available in the Virgin Islands. Travis then decided to launch the strike against DirecTV.

Travis took to his Instagram to upload a Christmas card from the family and wish his followers Happy Holidays in December of 2022. In his captions, he wrote, "Merry Christmas from the Travis family. Hope you and your families have a fantastic day." They spent Christmas together with their collective families together.

Lara and Travis enjoyed a beautiful rooftop dinner at Pescado Seafood Grill and Rooftop Bar at Rosemary Beach, Florida in May of 2022. Travis uploaded a photo of him with Lara at Pescado with beautiful Rosemary Beach behind them. 

And in March of 2022, Lara and Travis spent the weekend together at NCAA tourney held in Las Vegas. Since Clay's job requires him to report on sports, their families are frequently spotted at various sports matches and events over their Instagram.

As avid sports fans, it is no surprise that the Travis family dressed up as the circa 97-98 Chicago Bulls for Halloween of 2022. The family dressed up as the Chicago bull. Clay posted a photo of them on his Instagram. The post has received over sixty-five hundred likes as of now. Clay's Instagram followers took to comments to share their opinion on their Halloween fit with  Matt Pitman, CEO of Meat Church writing "Yesssssssss!!!!!!! Love it!".
