Laura Barron Lopez often credits her parents for her overwhelming success in her journalism career. She has received much support from them in her journey and values what they have offered her.

Her father, Roberto Lopez, decided to immigrate to the States from Mexico with his family, hoping for a better future for their child. Fortunately, their decision to move has proved fruitful as Laura is making a big name in the country. 

Lopez is more focused on her career and does not share much of her personal life on social media. She is also active on Instagram under the username @lblpolitico, but she has only 15 posts.

Born on February 08, 1995, Laura is currently 27 years old. She belongs to a family of Mexican immigrants and holds American nationality. 

She was born in Mexico and moved to the States with her family. Laura was raised in California, where she attended California High School.

She graduated in Political Science and received her degree from California State University. Due to her profession as a journalist, she currently lives in Washington DC. 

Laura Lopez is the White House Correspondent on PBS News Hour. She has worked as a political analyst for CNN since 2019. Previously, Lopez made her mark through her work with Politico as a White House reporter. She has also worked for Washington Examiner, The Hill, and HuffPost. 

She has been covering the Biden Administration program since June 13 this year. Lopez replaced Yamiche Alcindor, the former NewsHour correspondent, who left the position to join NBC News.

Laura announced her appointment as the White House Correspondent for News Hour through her Twitter @lbarronlopez. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, PBS News Hour has said that Lopez will be able to hold the legacy of trust of its viewers and lift a well-informed democracy. 

During her tenure at Politico, she played significant roles in highlighting the social concerns regarding sexism, discrimination, and women empowerment. Laura moderated a panel for Politico's Women Rule Summit on the women behind the 2020 Democratic presidential campaigns.

Meanwhile, Lopez also continued her work as a political analyst at CNN. She has also spoken as a guest speaker at the University of Chicago as an inspiration to young journalism graduates.

Her passion for in-depth reporting and her unique story-telling style sets her apart as an exemplary journalist.
