Ellen Pompeo Children: A Peek Into The Actress' Lovely Family With Husband Chris Ivery

Ellen Pompeo married Chris Ivery in 2007 in New York City, where mayor Michael Bloomberg became a legal witness to their wedding.

According to the actress, she met her spouse in a Los Angeles grocery store in 2003. After becoming friends for six months, they started dating. Then, in 2006, on Pomper's 37th birthday, Chris proposed to her for marriage and got married in 2007.

Ivery is a music producer who spent many years working as a record producer. Moreover, he is also credited as a writer on Rihanna's Cheers (Drink to That)" song. 

Ellen describes her partner as a supportive and caring husband. Also, she loves his caring and understanding nature. Being an actress is difficult, but she deals with these situations with the support and love of her husband.

Chris and Ellen tied the knot at City Hall in Lower Manhattan in a private ceremony where only friends and family were present. Pompeo's father also said she wanted a small wedding with only close friends and family. 

Ellen and Chris have three children, the elder one is Stella Luna, the second one is Sienna May, and the third one is Eli Christopher.

The couple's first daughter was born in 2009, the second daughter was born in 2014, and the third son was born in 2016. As of 2022, their first child is twelve years old, the second child is seven years old, and the third child is five years old.

The age gap between Stella and Sienna is approximately five years, whereas the age gap between Stella and Eli is about eight years. But there is only two year age gap between Sienna and Eli. 

According to the report in People, Pompeo wants her daughters to have role models so they can look up to them. Also, she prioritizes pointing out the achievements of Black women through many images of beautiful, powerful, and strong Black women to her daughters. 

Although the actress posts photos of her family on social media, Pompeo made a rare public appearance with her husband and three children at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Women's Show, held in Italy in June 2022. 

Ellen Pompeo revealed in one of her interviews in 2018 that she hadn't spoken to her co-actor Patrick Dempsey in years.

Based on the statement made by Ellen Pompeo when the interviewer asked if she and Patrick Dempsey are still friends, it looks like they are not friends in real life although their on-screen chemistry was praised by every fan of Grey's Anatomy. 

According to the Narcity website, Pompeo had no hard feelings for Dempsey as she praised him by saying he is a wonderful actor, and they make a good couple on TV together. She also said that he is a talented man and has been doing amazing work in his life.

As they have not spoken with each other after the Grey's Anatomy drama series, we can assume that even though they were the most captivating couple in TV history but it's hard to wonder how they feel about each other off camera.
