Here Is What You Need to Know About Adelaide 36ers Player Kai Sotto Father Ervin Sotto

Ervin Sotto, the father of Kai, is also a former Filipino basketball player. The Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs selected him eighth in the 2004 PBA draft. Before joining the NLEX Road Warriors camp, he played for the Shell Turbo Chargers, Barangay Ginebra Kings, and the Air21 Express, Alaska Aces.

Sotto was one of the most promising big players in the league, and he was noted for his outside shooting ability. Later, he also worked as an assistant coach for the NLEX Road Warriors. 

He also represented his national basketball team in Vietnam's 2003 Southeast Asian Games. He won the gold medal after the match. He was also named PBA champion in the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference. 

Nevertheless, Ervin might be an inspiration for his son Kai to move into sports. Being a father, he might have taught his kids some tricks and helped with the training.

Kai's age gap with his father Ervin is of 20 years. Jr. Sotto was born on 11 May 2002. in Las Pinas, Philipines, whereas his father's date of birth is 30 July 1981. But his mother's age is not available on the web, but her name was Pamela. 

Furthermore, he is the eldest son. But the name of his siblings is not revealed in the media. He started playing at just four years old in his early life.

He studies at Saint Francis of Assisi College to pursue his primary study. Although his father was also a basketball player, his idols were Tim Duncan, Kristaps Porzingis, and June Mar Fajardo.

Also, looking inside his family, besides his father and mother, he has two other siblings. Their name is not revealed to the media yet. But, he has one sister who must be a teenager and a small brother. They might be proud of their elder brother for what he has achieved at an early age.
