Here Is What We Know About Kai Sotto Father Ervin Sotto
Ervin Sotto, the father of Kai, is also a former Filipino basketball player. The Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs selected him eighth in the 2004 PBA draft. Before joining the NLEX Road Warriors camp, he played for the Shell Turbo Chargers, Barangay Ginebra Kings, and the Air21 Express, Alaska Aces.
Sotto was one of the most promising big players in the league, and he was noted for his outside shooting ability. Later, he also worked as an assistant coach for the NLEX Road Warriors.
He also represented his national basketball team in Vietnam's 2003 Southeast Asian Games. He won the gold medal after the match. He was also named PBA champion in the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference.
Nevertheless, Ervin might be an inspiration for his son Kai to move into sports. Being a father, he might have taught his kids some tricks and helped with the training.
