Gary Busey was accused with four charges of sexual contact and assault  at the conclusion of a horror convention in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. At the Monster Mania conference, this incident happened during meet-and-greet period.

Busey is a professional actor from the US. He played Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story (1978), for which he was shortlisted for an Academy Award for Best Actor and received the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actor.

He played major supporting parts in popular action movies including Predator 2, Point Break, and Under Siege in the 1990s. The American actor also starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Firm, Black Sheep, Rookie of the Year, and Black Sheep.

Actor Gary Busey Arrested Of 4th Degree Sexual Assault Charges And More

Gary Busey was arrested on Friday with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one case of attempted criminal sexual contact, and one count of harassment, as per Cherry Hill police.

Cherry Hill Police verified three women's reports that the actor allegedly touched them improperly during an autograph signing meetup, FOX 29's Steve Keeley on Twitter reported.

In the days ahead, police anticipate hearing from additional women. On all three days of the event, the Buddy Holly Story actor was supposed to be a special guest.

Busey was named as manning the signature booth alongside actors Ralph Macchio, Tom Skerritt, and Veronica Cartwright, according to the reports documented by Variety.

The convention issue is still being investigated. When PEOPLE asked the actor's representative for a response, neither they nor the Cherry Hill Police Department responded right away.

What Happened To Gary Busey At Monster Mania Convention?

Gary Busey is charged with sex offenses in relation to an incident that happened during the annual Monster Mania Convention in South Jersey.

The incident occurred on August 13 while the function was being held at the Cherry Hill Doubletree Hotel. Despite offering a suspect's age and birthplace, which fitted those of the actor, officials did not link the person to him.

The Guardian reports that Busey has a history of arrest, with charges of drug offenses in 1995 when police searched his Malibu house and discovered cocaine and other illegal drugs.

He was accused of possessing cocaine on one count, possessing marijuana on three counts, possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms on one count, and being under the impact of cocaine on three counts.

Gary Busey has three children, Jake Busey, Alectra Busey, and Luke Sampson Busey, and one grandchildren Autumn Rosalia Busey. The family mostly resides at California. 

His son Jake is an actor who is well recognized for his roles as the serial murderer Johnny Bartlett in 1996's The Frighteners and as Kyle Brenner in Tomcats (2001), and Aiden Tanner in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (2014–2016).

In 1994, Gary's union with stunt coordinator Tracy Hutchinson gave birth to his daughter Alectra, as per Wikipedia. Similarly, he also has a brother named David Busey, a Musical Artist. 

Additionally, the actor was previously detained on suspicion of spousal abuse. He was charged with sexual assault during the Celebrity Apprentice edition of 2011 against a female cast member.
