Meet Jalen Battles Parents: Father Fred And Mother Michelle
Michelle and Fred Battles are Jalen's parents. He stated in an interview that he is fortunate to have inherited the DNA of his parents, which have greatly aided him in developing the fantastic body needed for baseball.

Jalen had studied at Waco, Texas's McLennan Community College. In the 17 games, he played as a sophomore during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.
During the 2019 season, he appeared in 57 games and hit.320 as a freshman. Six home runs, 42 runs batted in, 60 runs scored, and six base steals got added to his totals. McClennan advanced to the Region V finals of the NJCAA Tournament thanks to his six home runs, all of which came in conference play.
Second-team all-conference honors were given to Jalen. He was a first-team all-district football and basketball pick and all-district selection overall in high school. Battles received the Athlete of the Year award from James Madison High School as a senior.
