David said that his company does International Shipping. The company ships its product to Canada, the Caribbean, and overseas using DHL and ships to Europe, Australia, and Singapore.

Jonathan Parents Julie And Jim Groff

Jonathan and his sibling David were born to parents Jim Groff and Julie Groff. His mother Julie was a physical education teacher.

He is of German, Swiss-German, English, and Scottish ancestry. On both sides of his household, he has important origins in Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Dutch, the nickname for Germans in the state.

Groff's thoughts are always drawn back to home. He visits Lancaster regularly, if just for a day. According to his mother, Julie, he was solely there for less than 24 hours on Thanksgiving.

He bought a house and land near his father's farm in Christiana. It's a residence for him to reside in when he returns home, but Groff has dreams for it.

Mother Julie Groff

Julie Groff is a physical instructor at the Conestoga Valley School District. Julie is a Methodist and Groff was raised in the Methodist religion.

Julie took Groff to New York City to audition for a touring version of "The Sound of Music."

Jonathan and Julie went to have some breakfast before the auditions started at 9 a.m. Julie remembers the incident and describes herself as naive.

Jonathan had to stand in line with hundreds of other candidates, and Julie stayed with her son the entire freezing January day.

However, her son desired to perform, she fought the desire to drive him back to their home near Strasburg.

Margie Wolpert is Julie's sister. Julie used to play the clarinet, but Jonatha believes he got his musical skill from his paternal grandpa, George Wolpert, who used to sing with an orchestra.

She was an athlete in school who declined to join the band or chorus since it would entail missing a vacation.

As a retired coach, she had no desire to compel her boys to participate in team sports.

The mother-son combo attended the Tony Awards together. Groff did not win the Best Actor in a Musical Oscar, but he and his family and friends had plenty of motivations to celebrate, whether in New York or Central Pennsylvania.

Father Jim Groff

Jim Groff was a horse trainer and a jockey. Jim is a Mennonite, and his paternal grandfather was a Mennonite pastor.

Jim is of German ancestry. Both of his parents were sports in their youth, but they never forced their children to follow any exact profession.

Groff's interest in theater and performing began at a young age. Groff fell in love with Julie Andrews' portrayal of Mary Poppins when he was three years old.

As he grew older, he and his sibling put on home productions, such as a performance of The Wizard of Oz in his father's barn, in which he portrayed Dorothy.

Jonathan was engaged in the performing arts and participated in many productions at the Fulton Opera House while still in high school. In 2003, he graduated from Conestoga Valley High School and planned to attend Carnegie Mellon University.

On the other hand, the opportunity to join the national tour of the musical 'The Sound of Music' changed the path of his life. He migrated to New York City to work in the entertainment sector.

Groff considers Sutton Foster to be one of his biggest influences and idols, and as a young aspiring actor, he would stay for her autograph at the stage door after her performances.

Groff participated in several district performances in his hometown of Lancaster during his adolescence. He directed and acted in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the Fulton Opera House when he was seventeen years old, winning a community award. Groff chose to follow a career as an actor in New York City.
