Lotte Wubben-Moy's partner, Tao Geoghegan Hart, is a cyclist who has been competing at the national level since 2010 and joined the British Cycling under-16 training program in 2011.

Both of the partners have achieved success in sports, with Lotte playing for Arsenal and Tao competing for the UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers as a British cyclist. 

Interestingly, her partner is a lifelong Arsenal supporter, and Lotte has been a member of the club since she was young.

Although Wubben-Moy relocated to the United States in the fall of 2017 to play college soccer, joining the ACC side North Carolina Tar Heels after three seasons with UNC, Wubben-Moy returned to Arsenal and signed a professional deal on September 11, 2020.

In 2011, he enrolled in the British Cycling Under-16 Development Program and the Under-18 Olympic Development Program shortly after.

Additionally, Geoghegan Hart competed for the Bissell Development Team in 2014; he raced his debut UCI 2 and came in third at Liège-Bastogne-Liège U23.

He repeated his third-place performance in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège U23 race in 2015, placing eighth overall in the Tour of the Gila, thirteenth overall in the Tour of California, and seventh in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, earning the title of best young rider.

Tao Geoghegan Hart Earned His First Stage Grand Tour In 2020

On October 18, 2020, Geoghegan Hart captured stage 15 of the Giro d'Italia at the Alpine summit finale of the Piancavallo, winning his maiden stage of a Grand Tour.

With the Sunweb duo of Jai Hindley and Wilco Kelderman, Geoghegan Hart soared beyond the remaining peloton to win the stage, outsprinting Kelderman at the finish line.

Before the second rest day, the outcome moved Geoghegan Hart to fourth in the overall race classification.

He took the second pick in the Giro d'Italia on October 24, 2020, after winning his second stage, and the next day, he placed 13th in a time trial on the final phase, which was the one that decided the Giro d'Italia.

By claiming the pink jersey after the final daytime trial, he made history by being the first cyclist ever to win the Giro overall championship while never wearing the pink jersey throughout the race.

Tao Geoghegan Hart Parents: Tom And Kristy Geoghegan

Born in Holloway, Geoghegan Hart was the oldest of four children, raised by his parents, Tom and Kristy Geoghegan in the Hackney neighborhood of London Fields.

His mother, Kristy, is the founder of Bare Music, an East London-based independent creative sync licensing firm that handles all parts of the sync licensing process.

Before that, she spent almost a year working as Village Green Recordings' sync licensing manager. From August 2017 until December 2019, she then held the position of A&R manager at Aristate Ltd.
