Micah Shrewsberry Wife Molly Shrewsberry Is A Holistic Wellness Coach

Micah Shrewsberry and his wife Molly Shrewsberry have been together since high school. Micah and Molly live in Pennsylvania with their kids.

Micah is a former college basketball player who currently coaches Penn State Nittany Lions of the Big Ten Conference. In the 1990s, he was an athlete for Hanover college in Indiana.

After ending his professional career, Micah took an offer of an assistant coach from Wabash Little Giants. in 2015, The 46-year-old joined Indiana Unversity South Bend as a head coach and served there for two years. 

Furthermore, Shrewsberry worked as a coaching staff for Boston Celtics for five years from 2013 to 2029, helping them to five playoff appearances. Finally, he was announced as the 14th head coach of Penn State on March 15, 2021.

Micah Shrewsberry Married Life

Micah Shrewsberry and Molly Shrewsberry reside in Pennsylvania with their four children.

The former athlete shared that he attended junior and senior prom with Molly on the Positively Dad podcast in 2021. Their relationship began in high school in the early 1990s.

Micah proposed to Molly when he was unemployed, per Sports Illustrated. Despite the difficult circumstances, Molly accepted Micah's proposal, and the couple decided to move in with Molly's parents while Micah searched for a job.

Micah appreciated Molly's support and loyalty through life's challenges. "She saw something in me. The journey had several ups and downs. That's the grind." he said.

Who Is Molly Shrewsberry?

Molly is a certified wellness coach of a blog platform called Love well Live well.

Molly's platform is focused on self-love and its impact on health.

Mrs. Shrewsberry received a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1999 and a Master of Science in Psychology from Purdue University in 2020.

Micah Shrewsberry Has Four Children

Micah has four children: Braeden, Nicholas, Caitlin and Grace Shrewsberry.

Braeden, the oldest among the four, is 17 years old. Nicholas, who is currently in ninth grade, is 15 years old. Likewise, Caitlin is 13 years old, and Grace is 9 years old.

When introducing his children to the Penn State community, Micah stated in a Penn State Men’s Basketball interview, "Those are my joy and pride. My family is special, and I love everything about my family. They are my whole life and career."

The head coach at Penn State loves sharing happy moments with his family on social media. He is active on Instagram as @coach_shrews, and Molly can be found on the platform as @lovewell_livewell.

Micah Shrewsberry Sons Are Basketball Athletes

Micah sons Braeden and Nicholas are both aspiring to make a career in basketball.

Braeden, the older of the two, currently plays college basketball as a shooting guard for Penn State in State College, Pennsylvania.

Braeden joined the team as a three-star recruit in the class of 2023 and stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 170 lbs. Braeden will have the opportunity to play for his father, the head coach at Penn State.

When Braeden signed with Penn State, his mother, Molly, shared her excitement on Twitter, saying, "So proud of you!! The best is yet to come!"

Nicholas, the younger son, has been playing basketball since grade two with ASA Hoops, a basketball camp. His outstanding shooting skills and elite rebounding make him one of the most promising basketball prospects.
