Country music is developed in the Southern United States in Atlanta, Georgia, in the 1920s. This genre of music includes the Southeastern genre of American folk music and Western music. Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, and Dolly Parton are country music artists.

Similarly, the Country Music Association (CMA) music festival is located in Nashville, Tennessee, the longest-running country music festival in the world. This music festival includes more than 260 musical artists with 4-day experience.

The four-day music festival donated $200,000 to charity each year.

1. Waterfront Blues Fest

The Waterfront Blues Festival is a four days performance by blues, a music genre musicians in July. It is a yearly event in Portland, Oregon, United States.

The event began in 1988 and it takes place in Tom McCall Waterfront Park forwards the west bank of the Willamette River in downtown Portland. The festival was started under the name of Rose City Blues Festival. It was funded and supported by the Cascade Blues Association to improve the Burnside Community Council's projects for the homeless.

The carnival has been telecast by the FM community radio station KBOO all over the festival. The name of the gala Rose City Blues changed to the Waterfront Blues Festival in 1991. 

The 2023 events as the 36th anniversary of the events held in a regular location Tom McCall Waterfront Park where people enjoy the views of Portland's famous bridges and riverfront. Being celebrating more than 35 years, the festival has welcomed more than 2,000 artists such as Gregg Allman, Gary Clark Jr., Mavis Staples, and more. In the 2023 events, it includes a dynamic lineup of more than 100 blues, soul funk, and R&B artists, Portland's famous food trucks, wineries, breweries, and so on.

2. Pickathon

Pickathon Music Festival takes place just outside Portland, Oregon on Pendarvis Farm. The event is held for three-day in every August 3-6. 

The festival began by Zale Schoenborn in 1999 with famous artists from genres such as indie, rock, rap, folk, and bluegrass. It is also popular for promoting sustainable environmental practices including the elimination of plastic tableware, recycling, use of renewable energy, presenting eco-friendly transportation, and composting. 

Food and camping are also available at the Pickaton Music Festivals. Beginning with the FM radio station, KBOO as a fundraiser, its first venue was Horning's Hideout in North Plains, Oregon. The first year of the music festival succeeds to manage only 90 people with performers. Now, there will be more than 5,000 people a day.

2023 Pickaton will offer a different lineup that brings art, culture, comedy, lit, drinks, food, wellness, and more. The ticket prices are $440 for Adults above 17, $220 for teens ages 13-16, and free for children under 12.

3. Oregon Jamboree

Oregon Jamboree was established in 1992 for an economic development project of the Sweet Home Community. The event runs for three days in Sweet Home, Oregon, US.

The location of the event is on a large field south of Sweet Home High School. The spot offers all over the Weddle Covered Bridge to Sankey Park. Nowadays, there was more than 13,000 people per day. The former performers of the events were Braid Paisley, Faith Hill, Carrie Underhood, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and more.

Founded by Marge Geil and Leslie Ancke, Oregon celebrates its 25 years of a country music festival in August. The carnival offers people with 20+ acre park-like setting such as the historic Weddle Covered Bridge. It also offers a full festival environment on the main stage and more a intimate concert experience on the second stage in Sankey Park. 

In 2023 events, there will be famous artists including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ashley McBryde, Larry Feet, Toast & Jam, Lainey Wilson, and more. 

4. Cascade Equinox

Cascade Equinox is founded by Toby White. He started Gem & Jam in 2005 in Tuscon, Arizona, United States.

The event was formed after White programming and studying the local music scene. Cascade widely differs from Gem & Jam, it offers a unique lineup that had a lot of crossover in genres. The new edition of Equinox has announced its majestic schedule with more than 50 performers including a variety of genres. The event represents the Central Oregon roots, electronic, and funk, blending an electric mix of jam, soul, and bluegrass. It will reflect the environment countryside and community.

Overall, this year 2023 Equinox will offer numerous camping options such as glamping in the Alpenglow Campground. Additionally, there also will be a fire pit, daily hosted happy hour, meditation, daily yoga, a private bar, and more. The performers of the events include Big Wild, Phantogram, Of The Trees, Emancipator, Goose, Christian Martin, and more.

The first-ever event will also facilitate kid's zones, carnival rides, live, art, workshops, and other camping options. 

5. Sisters Folk Festivals

Sisters Folk Festivals was founded by Jim Cornelius and Dick Sandvik in 1995. The festival celebrates for three days annually in Sisters, Oregon, United States.

The events are held on the weekend after Labor Day. It is hosted in Sisters at ten venues all over the city with a 900-seat venue at the Village Green Park in downtown Sisters and 900 seats at Sister Art Works. The music gala is also a nonprofit organization that strengthens the community and transforms lives through music and art.

The program SFF includes numerous activities with it 25 years of unforgettable festivals. They have a long-standing history of cultivating a listening environment, combined with an understanding that folks need to have a good time. The 2023 events going to be held from September 29 to September 2023 will feature 7 venues in the town such as Sisters Art Works, Village Green, the Open Door, Oliver Lemon's The Belfry, Sisters Depot, and Sisters Saloon. 

6. Harefest

Harefest is a yearly music festival presenting the greatest tribute bands in the nation. The two days events consist of music, food & drink, camping & fun.

The music festival 2023 from July 13-15 line-up included Guns N' Roses, Queen, Def Leppard, Journey, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood, Eagles, Foreigner, and many more. 2023 Harefest is the second year of the event held at the Clackamas Country Fairgrounds & Events Center. it offers an expansive overnight area and tent campers, and others.

A July 13 Kick-Off Party including Radical Revolution and None More Black is added this year which facilitates overnight festgoers the option to stay onsite the next day as well. The tickets for the carnival depend on the way, the ways they want to experience the Fest. This year 2023 Harefest was held on July 14-15.

Overall, the event was closed out Saturday night with their special multimedia artists from Pigs on the Wig, the highly approved Pink Floyd Tribute act.

7. Faerieworlds

Faerieworlds is celebrated for a once in a twelve-month period. It is a music and art event held in Oregon, United States.

The primary theme of an event is the 'realm of the faerie'. The musical event was formed by Emilio and Kelly Miller-Lopez of the musical band Wooland, and Robert Gould of the transmedia arts company Imaginosis. Every year the music and art event includes popular artists, musicians, authors, and crafters who are connected to folklore and faerie lore.

Nowadays, it is held in various places such as Oregon, Sedona and Prescott, Arizona, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Los Angeles, North Plains, and California. However, the event took place at Secret House Winery in Veneta Oregon from 2005 to 2008. It moved to Mout Pisgah, Oregon from 2010 to 2014. Currently, it celebrates in Portland Oregon.

The acts such as Johnny Cunningham, Karan Casey, Faun, Sharon Knight, Donovan, and others are on the main stage of the festivals. Similarly, Brian Froud, Terri Windling, Amy Brown, Wendy Froud, and others are also featured at Faerieworlds which is experienced in July every year.

8. North West String Summit

North West String Summit is a boutique music festival. The location of the event is Horning's Hideout in the Pacific Northwest which is about 45 minutes from Portland, Oregon.

The festival was started in 1999 by Skye McDonald and became more than 20 years. A music and camping event that happens in North Plains, Oregon. NWSS is the biggest String and Americana Music Festival in the Pacific Northwest.

The event began with a small group of local and string band musicians and now it is converted into a massive festival including an eclectic lineup. The numerous genres of music programmed at the events such as Americana, Indie Rock, Jam, and BlueGrass.

It facilitates various camping options where people can visit beautiful environments and sleep under old fir trees. Additionally, the children's zones, a thriving marketplace, and various types of food are also available at the festival.

The ticketing prices depend upon the visitor's number of days that visitors want to experience. It is followed for Northwest String Summit tickets. Children who are under 12 years old can enjoy the festival for free as long as ticket holding adult accompanies them.

9. Oregon Country Fair

Oregon Country Fair takes place on the Friday of the second weekend in July every year. It ends after two days on Sunday. 

Around 35,000 people attend the event which is located in Veneta, Oregon. The non-profit organization began in 1969 with a tagline of 'Come in costume'. The festival includes 22 stages of musical, juggling, comedic, daredevil, theatrical, and vaudeville shows. The tickets should be purchased off-site and disability and senior people get the discounts.

Face painting, music, and puppet show for children are also available at the festival. With 12 governed elected boards of directors and eleven staff members, the event includes archaeological sites conserved by state law.

10. Project Pabst

Project Pabst is a country and other genre music festival which held in Portland, Oregon. The 2014 and 2015 festivals took place in September and July.

The music carnival was started by a German native Jacob Bests as Pabst Blue Ribbon in Milwaukee Beer in Wisconsin in 1844.  Later, it was produced by Superfly and sponsored by both Pabst Brewing Company and StubHub.

 Every year, the festival is held near the Ross Island Bridge on Portland's South Waterfront. The actual location of the event is 3030 SW Moody Ave, Portland, OR 97201. Pabst ran for two days annually and motivates all to walk, skate, or bike with economically friendly parking facilities. The former artist of the events were Blondie, Priory, Weezer, and more. 

Iggy Pop, Dinosaur Jr., Goldyard, and others are the 2023 lineup artists of the gala which is going to be held on October.
