Nick Sykora is the son of professional Ice Hockey players Petr Sykora and Renata Sykora.

Petr Sykora and his wife Renata Sykora have been married for a decade. 

The couple lives in Pittsburgh. Petr's spouse has kept her private life away from social media glimpses.

Renata and Petr have a great understanding of each other. When Petr was about to transfer to Pittsburgh Penguins from Edmonton Oilers in 2008, he asked his wife about the situation at four in the morning.

Renata was hard asleep when Petr popped the question about going to Pittsburgh. She was surprised by this action but eventually accepted her husband's decision.
