Who Is Pilot Point Mayor Matt McIlravy Arrested For Child Soliciting? All About The Democrat

The mayor of Texas, Matt Mcllravy, was arrested for solicitation of a child online. According to mainstream media including New York Post, the Pilot Point Mayor Matt was charged with a second-degree felony. The 42-year-old has been under custody since 21 June. 

Dallas Police busted the politically active personality after performing the undercover operation. The ICAC Unit of the Dallas Police Department, the head organization in the North Texas ICAC Task Force, conducted a five-month investigation that resulted in his arrest.

Pilot Point City Manager Britt Lusk told CBS11 that the arrest occurred while McIlravy was inside City Hall. According to law enforcement officials, other conversations with juveniles have been discovered, but they are not recognized now.

He was recently elected mayor of the Pilot Point of Dallas. He also tried running his campaigns through social media but did not succeed as he did by meeting people in person. Further, a page Matt Mcllaravy for Mayor page was created where he used to share his plans after being mayor. He also enlisted some of the projects he had already helped for the community.

Mayor Matt, accused of child soliciting, is married to his beloved wife Ashley Mclravy, which he has openly posted on his Facebook account. In the about section of social media, he has quoted his marital status with his partner's accounts name. 

Further looking inside, the couple has already started their own family and have two sons. One seems to be in his mid-teens, whereas a small one might be in his early teens or will soon enter his teenage. 

According to his wife's Facebook profile, she is also a teacher and a strong believer in Jesus Christ. As both of them are in the teaching business, they might have crossed their path during their early career days. Also, she has tried to introduce herself as plunder jewelry stylish as well. 

She seems to be a great partner and has supported her husband through his election campaigns as well. However, after the recent news, she might also be heartbroken. Many want to know if their marriage will be in jeopardy.

Matt Mcllravy, who won the Mayor of Pilot Point, a city of fewer than 4000 people north of Dallas, is in Dallas Police custody. He was arrested after five months of an undercover investigation by the ICAC Unit of city police which the North Texas ICAC Task Force leads. 

According to law enforcement officials, the investigation revealed more communications with other minors, who the police have not yet identified. He is charged with a second-degree felony of online solicitation of a child. No, reports are released yet following the investigation after the detention.
