Pilot Point Mayor Matt McIlravy Arrested For Child Soliciting
The mayor of Texas, Matt Mcllravy, was arrested for solicitation of a child online. According to mainstream media including New York Post, the Pilot Point Mayor Matt was charged with a second-degree felony. The 42-year-old has been under custody since 21 June.
Dallas Police busted the politically active personality after performing the undercover operation. The ICAC Unit of the Dallas Police Department, the head organization in the North Texas ICAC Task Force, conducted a five-month investigation that resulted in his arrest.

Pilot Point City Manager Britt Lusk told CBS11 that the arrest occurred while McIlravy was inside City Hall. According to law enforcement officials, other conversations with juveniles have been discovered, but they are not recognized now.
He was recently elected mayor of the Pilot Point of Dallas. He also tried running his campaigns through social media but did not succeed as he did by meeting people in person. Further, a page Matt Mcllaravy for Mayor page was created where he used to share his plans after being mayor. He also enlisted some of the projects he had already helped for the community.
