Who Is Rae Sremmurd Mother, Bernadette Walker?
The two Brown brothers, Aaquil Iben Shamon Brown and Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown were raised by a single mother, Bernadette Walker. Their father abandoned them at a young age, and their mother raised the kids.
She served in the United States Army and worked on tanks. The veteran is now an entrepreneur and a Real Estate Agent. She is a celebrity realtor who has worked with several celebrities. According to her Instagram bio, the mother of two is also a youtube. She recently opened a channel named Reel Takes, where she uploads videos of movie critics.
As her mother worked in U.S. Army, the family had to relocate frequently. As a result, the brothers resided throughout Mississippi, Maryland, and Texas before settling in Tupelo, Mississippi's notorious Ida Street housing complexes.
Bernadette then remarried a man named Floyd Sullivan. The pair had a son named Michael Sullivan, and the half-brothers, Jimmy, and Swae Lee were close with each other. Unfortunately, in January 2020, Bernadette's husband died in a tragic murder.
The culprit was none other than her son, Michael Sullivan. The tragedy took place in Mississippi when he shot and killed his father. Bernadette claims that Floyd had a complicated relationship with his son, Michael, and had previously threatened to kill his parents.
She feared that the victim of the murder could have easily been her if she were present at the moment. Michael had been dividing his time between his parents, visiting his mother in Georgia and living with his father in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Bernadette says that she does not know what led to the murder. However, Michael has been charged with felony first-degree murder with a $100,000 bond.
