The Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress, Rena Sofer, portrays Quinn Fuller on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Sofer discovered her talent when she was just 15, when she used to perform on the streets of New York City's Greenwich Village. It was the start of her acting career.

She starred in daytime dramas like Another World and Loving and was soon cast in A Stranger Among Us by Sidney Lumet. Since then, she has been actively engaged in film and television.

Sofer earned an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series Daytime Emmy in 1995 for her role as Lois Cerullo on General Hospital.

Why Is Rena Sofer Leaving The Bold And The Beautiful?

Fans of Rena Sofer have formally bid her farewell after nine years on The Bold and the Beautiful.

A few weeks after announcing her departure from the CBS soap opera, the actress, who portrayed Quinn Fuller from 2013 to 2022, recently discussed her choice to leave as the contract ended in May.

The actress revealed she had a heart-wrenching saying on Friday, August 5, in a strange Instagram post. She later clarified that "it was not just my daughter's birthday, but the conclusion of my 9-year tenure as Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful."

She said, "I know it's heartbreaking for some, and it's for me as well, but it's time for me to go on with both my acting career and my pottery business," indicating that this decision was not made lightly and that it would also be difficult for fans to hear.

One of her followers wrote: "Wait... was that Quinn's last scene?! She's happy with Carter, and that's it? It fades out like a dream. She's just going to disappear?! I'm numb. This makes NO sense."

Although Rena left the show, her supporters are still holding out hope for a new cast. One of the users penned: "I get it if she just quit and didn't give them a chance to write an exit. This no ending/exit is what makes me think (hope?) there is a recast."

As other claims, "technically it was her choice to leave, and it was last minute. Her contract was up, and they begged her to stay, but she felt she deserved better."

Her Contract With Bold And Beautiful Ended In May

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Sofer claimed that her contract had ended in May and that she hadn't heard anything about it until the final week of filming before the July break.

The actress claims that they informed her about the uncertainty of her character's situation but requested her to continue to appear on a "recurring basis" as they tried to sort it out.

In her words to the source, "I just felt like if my choice wasn't set at that point, that kind of made it plain, that they just didn't know what to do with Quinn, and I felt like I deserved more than just hanging around till they figured it out."

In particular, after the entire "Quarter" story, there was still a lot to do, as you may know. Since Donna (Jennifer Gareis) was still a part of it and I wasn't yet legally separated from John McCook, I felt it was time to leave.

Fans Of Quinn Fuller Actress Queries Her Whereabouts After The Exit

Next up for Sofer are her motherly responsibilities as she prepares her daughter Avalon for college when she leaves the nest.

Although the actress is pursuing a career in pottery, she is also using her creative abilities in a new art form. Don't worry, though—she will soon resume holding auditions.

In her Instagram goodbye message, she urged people to visit her pottery website, Renasoferceramics.com. The actress claims she discovered a new version of herself at a moment of sorrow, as quoted on the Rena Sofer Ceramics website.

User posts, "Knowing this is Rena Sofer's last episode... somehow these words Carter is saying to Quinn seem more personal than the show." That scene was too real. Like he was saying goodbye."
