Margaret Armitage Was An Amazing Woman
Richard Armitage mother Margaret Armitage was born on 18 March 1944 in Wallingford. Margaret was the mom of adult sons Richard and Chris.
Margaret was the most courageous, elegant, and remarkable individual. She worked as a secretary. In January 2018, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She did whatever she could from the time she was diagnosed to make life easier for everyone else.
Her relatives noticed little self-pity and a few claims on those who cared for her. Her sons were extremely fortunate to have her as a mother. Her husband, John, cared for her for four months; her eldest son, Chris, held her hands to relieve her discomfort; and her grandkids came for hugs.
On March 18, she turned 74, and her son surprised her with a mobility scooter. She started laughing as she drove through his brother's kitchen wall. The family had a lovely Easter together.
Unfortunately, Margaret passed away on May 9, 2018. Richard tries to raise funds for LOROS in loving remembrance of his most beautiful, kind. His mom constantly advised him to treat others as he would like to be treated.
She lived modestly and with humility. She wasn't a frequent church member in later years, however, she was the backbone of their small city and lived a Christian life.
Richard tweeted a post on May 9, 2020, remembering Margaret saying she loved reading all the letters. It made him remember when his mom and Richard used to do it together.
