On Friday, June 30, 2022, Dererk 'Rocky' Miles died abruptly. Up The Clarets confirmed his passing through an online message.

The Up The Clarets team was sorry to learn of the death of Derek 'Rocky' Mills this morning, according to Up The Clarets. Many have added to the outpouring of sadness by sharing it on social media.

Some supporters have even commented on it, claiming, "Rocky is the most Claret fan in history, and it is hard to be a Burnley fan and not know who he is. Let's hope the club does something special for him at the season's first home game. RIP."

Derek Mills, better known as Rocky, died abruptly on Thursday, June 30th.

The Clarets revealed the loss of one of their greatest fans, a club icon to be honest, through internet messages.

The reason for death, however, has yet to be revealed. Derek's exact cause of death may be revealed soon after a medical check.

According to one of the supporters, Derek assisted a broken bolt on the sharing of a bus full of Burney fans traveling to attend the away game against Southampton in 2018.

The obituary notice has been published, and his family is busy preparing for the club legend's final rites. Many high-profile football figures are anticipated to attend his funeral.

The devoted football fan used to drive to Pendleside Hospice to see his terminally sick wife, who was currently there.

Jean, 80, has been battling cancer for nearly seven years. Since then, she's been in nursing homes and hospices, and Rocky used to pay her visits every now and then.

Derek, on the other hand, was unable to visit his wife after discovering that his vehicle had been severely damaged by criminals.

However, users on social media have launched a campaign to repair their automobiles so that they can meet their wives.

She and her family are devastated by the news and are avoiding media questions.
