Runner Eliud Kipchoge Wife Grace Sugutt Happy As He Breaks His Record At Berlin Marathon

The professional runner from Kenya, Eliud Kipchoge, has been happily married to his wife, Grace Sugutt. The duo has known each other for nearly two decades, as they first met each other in 2003, the year Eluid took his first marathon world championship gold medal home.

The runner's wife, Sugutt, is a well-known corn farmer who runs a poultry farm and raises dairy animals. She is also viewed as a celebrity wife and by a property manager who thinks she and her husband are always destined to be with each other.

When her husband beat the Ineos 1:59 challenge in October 2019, she immediately rushed to him. It was a proud moment for the couple. That is when Grace was in the national headlines of different media platforms. 

Grace is the foundation of her husband Eliud Kipchoge's career and always travels with him when he competes. She has been with her husband since she was 19 years old. She met her husband through her brother Amos because her brother was Eliud's best friend.

Likewise, the duo lived close by and were classmates. Eliud and Grace were drawn together by their shared love of humility. They began their marriage in a traditional ceremony after a year of dating in the Kalenjin manner.

Sugutt has previously stated that Kipchoge's fame can sometimes be difficult for the family, but she has added that she always supports her husband. She encourages him, prays for him, and watches out for his happiness and fitness at all times.

The runner's wife has clearly stated that she wants to be known as the driving force behind the runner's accomplishments.

Shortly after exchanging vows, Eliud Kipchoge and Grace Kipchoge were blessed with three kids: Lynne Kipchoge, Gordon Kipchoge, and Griffin Kipchoge. The runner has a happy family of five members.

Eliud's first-born daughter, Lynne, is currently 15 years old, and his sons, Gordon and Griffin, are 9 and 11, respectively. The runner loves spending time with his family whenever he gets the chance.

They have tried their best to fulfill their parental responsibilities and keep their children away from any unnecessary media attention. As a result, very little information regarding Lynn, Gordon, and Griffin is available on the media platforms.

However, the professional runner is often found posting photographs with his family on his social media platform, Instagram, where he can be found under the username @kipchogeeliud with an officially verified account.

The 37-year-old professional runner, Eliud Kipchoge, lives a simple life, 30 KM away from where his wife Grace Sugutt and his children reside, in a remote village in Kenya known as Kaptunga. Eliud leads a simple life with the fewest disturbances possible. His wife and three kids live in Eldoret, Kenya.

Eliud runs a camp where he mentors others who aspire to be like him, and his presence there has significantly impacted them. The major goal of the center is to log the training miles required for Eliud and the other athletes to accomplish their ambitions. Eliud's lifelong coach, Patrick Sang, argues that the camp serves as a second home for the athletes.

Previously, Kipchoge was born as the youngest child on November 5, 1984, in Kapsisiywa, Nandi County, Kenya, and was raised by a single mother who was a teacher. He only saw his father from old pictures. 

Kipchoge went to Kaptel Secondary School and graduated in 1999. Although he did not pursue running as a career or a serious sport at the time,  he ran the two miles (3.2 km) to school every day. 

The long-distance runner, Eluid Kipchoge, is thought to have a net worth of approximately $3 million, which is a significant amount of money thanks to his outstanding marathon results.

Currently, Kipchoge is thought to be among the greatest marathon runners ever. It has been determined that Eliud Kipchoge makes about $50,000 every year. Kipchoge, a two-time Olympic champion, improved his position as the best marathon runner in history by winning his 15th race out of 17 overall.

Nike has supported the marathon runner for almost 20 years. He is frequently seen wearing Nike Vaporflys. He also won the 2019 INEOS challenge and was awarded a brand-new Isuzu D-Max worth $41,000.

Furthermore, he has the national titles of Kenyan Cross Country Championships, winning the senior race in 2004 and 2005 and the junior race in 2002 and 2003. He also won AIMS Best Marathon Runner Award in the man category in 2015, 2016, and 2017. 

Kipchoge was awarded the 2018 United Nations Kenya Person of the Year and the 2019 IAAF Male athlete of the year award. Likewise, he was listed as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2019.

In this way, despite his significant accomplishments, he lives a simple existence in Eldoret. Kipchoge favors a simple lifestyle where he may get to know his neighbors and family.
