Actress Taylor Hickson filed a complaint against the film's production company, Incident Productions after she sustained a terrible facial injury when she went through a glass door while filming the independent horror film Ghostland in Canada.

Hickson, who had just turned 19 days before the disaster in Winnipeg, Manitoba, was playing "an emotionally charged performance" in which the director had instructed her to pound faster and harder on the door, her face dangerously up to the glass pane.

The complaint claims that while recording another take, The glass cracked, sending pieces of glass flying and causing the head & upper body to fall through the door. Due to the event, Hickson was transported to the hospital with a seriously sliced left side of her face.
