The band Perry is from Ridgeland, Mississippi, United States. The trio was formed in 2005.

The band was formed after Kimberly Perry started her musical journey within her own band as a teenager. And then, at ages 8 and 10, her brothers Reid and Neil joined her and served as a reading crew.

The siblings then united in 2005 to form The Band Perry, then they started touring as a part of the New Faces of Country Tour.

After three years, they were discovered by Garth Brooks’ manager, Bob Doyle. He helped them get music recorded. In 2009, the band officially signed a record deal with Republic Nashville.
