How Long Will Be Todd Chrisley Jail Time? Update On His Fraud Case Sentence

The stars of the reality show Chrisley Knows Best Todd Chrisley on USA Network were found guilty of conspiring to commit bank fraud.  More charges include conspiring to defraud the United States, and tax deception.

His wife Julie was also found guilty of wire fraud. Meanwhile, the couple could spend up to 30 years in prison after the verdict was revealed earlier this month; sentencing is scheduled for October 6.

To begin with, Todd and Julie Chrisley weren't each charged with a single crime. After their former business partner Mark Braddock cooperated with the FBI to describe how the two TV celebrities had applied for loans under false pretense and even used fresh loans to pay off existing loans, a long list of accusations had been connected to them.

The fact that Todd devised a strategy to make it appear as though he had a bank account with $4 million in it when there was no such account was brought up in court with the assistance of a business associate. The Chrisleys owed the government money for unpaid taxes as well as other things.

After being found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion earlier this month, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are pleading for a miracle.

The reality TV couple said on their "Chrisley Confessions" podcast on Thursday that although they are "not allowed" to discuss the verdict in detail, they wanted everyone to be aware that "it's a really sad, devastating time for our family right now."

On June 7, Todd Chrisley and Julie, 49, were convicted of falsifying paperwork while requesting loans from banks, and Julie also tried to rent a home in California by providing fraudulent credit reports and bank records.

Another explosive fact that the family had allegedly attempted to hide was also revealed during the trial.

Todd's former business partner Mark Braddock stated that the "Chrisley Knows Best" star had an extramarital affair with him and that the two of them had paid off a blackmailer to keep the alleged gay affair under wraps.

After a three-week trial, reality TV couple Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of numerous counts of bank fraud and tax evasion. This is the first time they have spoken out since that time.
