Matthew Lee, 24, has won the major diving championship to date. His greatest accomplishment was winning the gold medal in the synchronized 10m platform with Tom Daley at the Tokyo Olympics.

The team's gold title at the FINA Diving World Cup came after their Olympic victory. Before winning the two gold medals, Lee swept the individual and synchronized events at the European Championships.

Following Tom Daley's decision to skip contests for a year, Lee has successfully assumed leadership. He represented Great Britain's diving squad at the World Championships this year.

Matty Lee, a medal contender for Team England, surprised his fellow divers by displaying a rare level of patriotism.

Lee, who won the 10m synchronized diving event at the Olympics with Tom Daley, has admitted that he had shaved the St. George's flag into the hair on his stomach.

Prior to competing in Birmingham alongside Noah Williams, the 24-year-old will cut it off, but his antics have drawn attention.

Because diving is challenging, Lee remarked, "We take it extremely seriously." You have to be focused, so it's helpful to inject humor into it. Otherwise, you see someone concentrating on a board without much personality.

Lee's teammate, Jack Laugher, said: "I loved it. I felt jealous. I would have done the same thing, except I can't grow stomach hair.

"Since you want to try and look professional, he will shave it off for the competition." Although it's a little uneven, he did an excellent job.
