UFC Star Max Holloway Had A Very Difficult Childhood - Who Are His Parents?

Max Holloway was born to his parents, mother, Missy Kapoi, and father, Mark Holloway.

Sadly, his childhood was filled with violence and negligence as both his parents were heavy drug users. His father was abusive towards his mother and had left the family when Max was a young kid of 11 years old.

While his mother, Missy, has recovered from her drug habits, she maintains a close bond with Max. Likewise, Max and his father are still estranged today.

Missy is a former crystal meth user and is now looked over by Max and his partner.

Moreover, he and his family are confirmed to have a mixture of Native Hawaiian, Samoan, and English ancestry.

Now nicknamed Blessed, Max has garnered prominence as a fight from Hawaii and is famous around the whole country.

He is also proud of his background as a Hawaiian-Samoan fighter in UFC.

Max Holloway is currently hitched to his partner, Alessa Quizon. Alessa is a professional Hawaiian surfer with whom he began dating in early 2020.

The couple got engaged on November 18, 2021, and finally tied the knot on April 16 this year. Their marriage had made quite a news while their wedding photos were shared by Khon 2.

After the marriage, Alessa has legally taken Max's last name and is now known as Alessa Holloway. She is known for her lovely relationship with other members of the Holloway family, including Max's son from his first marriage.
