What Happened To Gleycy Correia? Miss Brazil 2018 Dies After Tonsil Surgery

Former Miss Brazil Gleycy Correia passed away unexpectedly on June 20 after undergoing a tonsillectomy that resulted in severe bleeding and a catastrophic heart attack.

Since April, when her tonsils were surgically removed, and she experienced her first heart attack, and she had been in a coma. On June 21, Correia's body was interred following an autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Institute of Macae.

According to Lidiane Alves Oliviera, her family's priest, Gleycy Correia, underwent tonsil surgery in April. She experienced a hemorrhage at home five days after the procedure. The 27-year-old model and influencer experienced a heart arrest, which caused very little neurological activity and resulted in her falling into a coma.

Pastor Jak Abreau, a different family acquaintance, stated that Correia's family believes there were medical errors during her entire course of therapy, which caused her death. Abreau claimed that Correia would now be lighting up the skies with her smile as she prayed for the deceased's soul. Additionally, he thanked everyone who had prayed for her security.

Gleycy Correia was not married, but she did have a lover named Crista. She posted a lot of pictures of them together on Instagram.

On her Instagram page, she has posted many images of him. However, the media doesn't seem to have anything to say about him.

He appears to be a somewhat private individual who dislikes being in the spotlight. He must be in a lot of pain because his lover passed away; it is difficult to lose someone you love.

Even though he might be busy with her funeral, he hasn't been active on social media.

Gleycy Correia's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million; however, her exact income is unknown.

The 2018 Miss Brazil, is a businesswoman who specializes in laser therapy and permanent makeup, which entails tattooing cosmetics to resemble makeup on clients.

Gleycy revealed in an interview that she was raised in poverty and has been active on social media.

The former model admitted that she began working as a manicurist in a beauty parlor when she was eight years old.

She stated, "I actually wasn't born in a golden cradle, I'm from a very humble family, but I'm so proud of it, extremely proud," in an interview after winning Miss Brasil Continentes Unidos.
