What Happened To Victor Hedman?
The Tampa Bay Lightning could be dealing with yet another key injury after star defenseman Victor Hedman took a bad high hit from New York Rangers forward Alexis Lafreniere in the second period of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals in 2022.
Lafreniere missed his hit, but he injured Hedman, who was quickly removed from the game by blackout spotters and shipped off to the storage facility. Given the importance of the assignment, Hedman could have done without his ice experience being cut short.

Hedman is undeniably a key component of Lightning's recent success. With his ability to play high on both ends of the rink, he remains one of the most impressive blueliners in the NHL. Hedman finished the regular season as the Bolts' second-best player in assists (65) and negative. 2 in focuses (85).
