Yoshihiro Togashi, 56, is a talented person who has authored various manga of different genres in the last three decades. He has also received the distinguished award Shogakukan Manga Award given to manga creators. 

Due to his health issue, Togashi has been slowly uploading his chapters of the series Hunter X Hunter, but he has updated his fans that he is likely to post more manga chapters this year.

Yoshihiro Togashi, 56, suffered from health problems as he did not publish any chapters in 2015. Also, due to his health issue, he did not publish any chapters in 2019 and 2020. 

Togashi suffered from back pain due to long hours as a mangaka; he has worked various projects for unhealthy hours, had back surgery, and is rehabilitating his health. 

Togashi is likely to have been better from his back pain, as he has committed to publishing new chapters of Hunter X Hunter this year. 

Is Hunter X Hunter Coming Back?

Indeed Hunter X Hunter is likely to be coming back as the author updated the news by posting a photo of the corner of a manga page; he announced that he should release four more chapters of the manga for the time being in his new Twitter account. 

To illustrate, the manga series is about an adventure of Gon and his best friend Killua, who travel to different lands, track down criminals, and make an effort to save the continent. The layer of mystery and power levels in the show has appealed to its audience. 

Nevertheless, fans wish him, his family, and his wife good health and prosperity, as the author has been providing phenomenal work of art through his drawings and storytelling ability. 

Yoshihiro Togashi Manga Creator Career

 Togashi published his earliest work for Shueisha, which included I'm Not Afraid of the Wolf. It was a short story collection of comedy series. 

Furthermore, he rose to fame through his manga and anime series Yu Yu Hakusho which was released in the 1990s. Thus, the author acquired global fame through his work in Hunter X Hunter which brought a revolution to the world of manga series.

Therefore, the manga has sold more than 55 million copies in Japan, and he was tied with One Piece author Eiichiro Oda as the fifth favorite manga artist in 2008.
